Dear Wish Fountain, please help the truth come to light and ensure justice. If J. really loved me and only fear of commitment and hurt from our argument is preventing him from allowing his feelings, then help him overcome the fear and adopt a reconciliatory attitude. However, if everything was just a lie and he used me as a rebound (even though he knew my history and promised me he would never do such a thing), then let these lies be exposed and hold him accountable.
Please help me finally see clearly which version is the truth, so I can find inner peace and act/think justly myself. Let me trust again when trust is warranted and be wary when someone means me harm. This is best for all involved. Thank you!
