Howto make a wish

Making the right wish at the wishing well
Whether there is “the” right way to wish is debatable. Everyone can formulate their wishes to the wishing well and the team in their own way. However, the wishes are checked: not for a “good” way of wishing, but to see if a wish could turn out to be a curse. If a wish doesn’t fit the following criteria, the well closes to it. There are gray areas that are sometimes difficult to judge. The more information provided in the wish, the better it can be assessed whether a wish can be granted.

The criteria primarily serve to help you understand the decisions made by the Wishing Well. Of course, it also explains how a wish is understood as such. This guide is intended to help you channel your own energy into your wishes. Understanding order and power opens up clear paths to how a wish can be strongly supported so that it is fulfilled.

Curses

The Wishing Well is a place for meditation. Wishes are brought along to be empowered by their inherent order—that is, by expressing their power. During this process, wishes arise that do not align with the ethics of those who grant them power. The team of wish-power facilitators sits around the well and meditatively enters a state of heightened energy. This state is disrupted by a wish that does not fit. Therefore, we do not accept it and exclude it from the well. This is not arbitrary, but rather our personal commitment to the wishes. Unfortunately, we have no further options. We regret any feelings of injustice this may cause.

What is external influence?

The Wishing Well does not include wishes that involve someone other than the person making the wish. The classic example of this is: “Dear Wishing Well, I wish that X would love me.”This generally also applies to positive wishes, which may well be well-intentioned, but still involve someone else. External influence also refers to external systems, such as “Dear Wishing Well, I wish that the relationship between X and Y would be filled with love.”

Why are wishes for the health and success of others problematic?

Many wishes for other people are accepted at the wishing well. These are usually wishes for good health and success. Here are two examples: “Dear wishing well, I wish that X.’s health will soon improve.” or “Dear wishing well, I wish that X. passes the exam.”There is a gray area with these wishes: sometimes a wish for good health or success can also have negative consequences. In the case of health problems, it’s clear: go to the doctor! With this type of wish, the judgment is based on how good you feel while using the energy. This can be positive or negative. If there is any doubt, we prefer to remove the wish.

Are there correct ways to express wishes concerning family?

Wishes for one’s own children and for individuals with whom a duty of care is named fall into a further gray area: “Dear Wishing Well, I wish that my son could get along better with other children.”The framing is important here. Providing someone with an option that they can choose leaves open the freedom to develop. In this example, this is expressed by the word “can.”

Can names of people and companies be mentioned?

Full names of people, companies, products, and groups are removed from wish lists. This doesn’t necessarily prevent search engine indexing, but it keeps the wish list clean. However, this cannot be guaranteed. Plagiarism and copies of poems have been found here, which were reported by the authors. Such wishes are, of course, deleted. The wish list reserves the right to completely change the text of a wish and replace it with information about its own offerings, especially in the case of wishes that appear disrespectful. If there isn’t enough time for a more thorough review, the wish will be deleted without comment.

Can I submit an advertising for something?

Of course not. The wishing well is not a platform for advertising. Fortunately, this rarely happens. Everything is completely deleted, most of it automatically. A report about spammers is also automatically sent to a central database.

Could one wish for more luck in gambling and more money?

Normally, we don’t leave a wish for luck in the wishing well. We consider it rather pointless, but our opinion doesn’t have to dictate the matter. In our view, luck comes to you when you’re in a flow state and moving with specific feelings. Money is a virtual invention of ours. It’s hardly possible to organize it in a way that allows the power of desire to flow through it.

Freund24 reserves the right to delete wishes and to partially or completely modify wish texts. There’s no other way. The wishing well has been around since 2008, and just about everything imaginable has come up. There are many wishing wells on the internet today. This one is the oldest in the German-speaking world: it has only been able to survive legally and ethically because every wish is read personally. Of course, no guarantee can be given that a wish will be fulfilled. Power meditations for the wishes are offered. That’s what’s provided here. The community of people who work on fulfilling wishes is a closed group of good people.

Instructions for good wishes

After clarifying above what curses and forbidden wishes are, here are the instructions for making a wish. Knowledge of a power source, its strength, and especially the flow of that power is crucial for making a wish effectively. Of course, you don’t have to follow these instructions. Wishes directed at the universe or anything religious are frowned upon here. The wishing well operates on a simple logic: every force needs an order in which it can flow. And this order is called a wish.

What is a wish?

The emotional philosophy of shamanic therapy defines a wish as an order within which life force is to flow into the future. This naturally leaves much room for interpretation, even for the opposite of a wish: a curse or a hex. Wishing is closely related to blessing. Blessing itself, however, requires a “higher” power. The wishing well relies on the power of the givers of power.

With a formulated wish, you take the right to change something. If this is done for yourself, this taking of the right is a form of self-care and strengthens self-confidence simply through the act of wishing. This taking of power over one’s own destiny is viewed extremely positively here. With a wish, you do not relinquish responsibility. You shape the flow, the direction of your own power.

A wish here in the wishing well consists of words. These words establish an order. You can perhaps imagine this using the model of a road or a path: a path should move in a certain direction. To the left and right of the path are the guiding lines. In this model, these guiding lines represent the words of desire. They direct life’s movement in the desired direction. If the goal resonates with you, then your own energy can be channeled along this path and toward achieving it. In short, a desire is a “guiding force,” similar to a gutter through which rainwater flows and perhaps ends up in a well. This guidance in life, which you formulate yourself, is then understood, in particular, by your subconscious mind.

How do you formulate a wish correctly?

Formulating a wish sets the course. The words shape the path of your future life force. Where should it flow? What should it encounter? – And this also concerns you: what should you encounter, where should your life develop? With this understanding, formulating a wish becomes a moment of reflection. You consider precisely where you are now and where you want to go. How you reach this goal is irrelevant. It will unfold if the wish is simply put into words correctly, formulated correctly. Freund24 is happy to advise you on your formulation, thoroughly and in detail. This will help you establish the right order. Consult me, my fee is 35.- Euros.

Do not use negations in wishes!

A deeper exploration of our emotional landscape reveals that our subconscious mind doesn’t understand negations. Therefore, no wish containing a negation can be effective. If a wish is to create order within the subconscious, it must be formulated in a way that allows it to be understood. You’re familiar with this phenomenon: imagine you’re walking along a path that could be cut across a lawn. There’s a sign that reads: “Please keep off the grass.” Our subconscious mind, however, interprets this as: “Please walk on the grass.” This creates a new, rather unwanted path directly through your lovingly tended lawn. Try it yourself: what would you have to write on the sign to stop anyone from walking on your lawn?
For formulating wishes, this simply means: formulate them actively and positively. Perhaps also test your wording for unhelpful words and syllables like: not, no, without, but, rather, despite, except, un-, mis-, no, etc.

Avoid conditions in your requests!

Our brains are capable of comparing three things simultaneously in everyday consciousness. These are three states we juggle. Formulating a wish with “if,” “in case,” “should,” etc., creates such juggling possibilities. Remember the path described above? With possibilities, it’s no longer clear. This creates a blockage in the flow of energy.
Conditions in wishes have another effect: they lead to a focus on the less desirable option. We humans are masters of avoidance. Fear is quick to arise and shows us what we should avoid. This creates a focus that usually directs our gaze toward the less desirable option. That’s not how a wish works. Without a condition, there’s a good chance that the flow of energy will be fulfilled in the desired way.

Use active formulations, not passives!

Wishing can create an active and positive direction. If you adopt a passive stance, you simultaneously relinquish responsibility. For example, a wish expressed with the words “I want to be loved” emotionally allows for the possibility that this won’t happen. The action, the movement along the path, is placed in someone else’s hands. But you are the only one who can walk your own path in life. So please formulate it actively: “I want to have an impact that allows me to encounter loving people.”
The inclusion of a religious power structure further reinforces the passivity: “Dear God, I want…”. In our view, a wish only works if you live your own life and take responsibility for it yourself. The hope inherent in a religion allows the wish to go unfulfilled.

Use simple words! Foreign words are taboo.

If possible, keep your wish in your native language, using simple words. Swiss speakers can certainly use their dialect, even if it’s sometimes difficult to spell. Some people, for example, feel drawn to English and prefer to express their wishes in English. That’s perfectly fine. However, there’s a concern: does this mask a form of longing that’s veering into a form of hope? Hope has no effect when making a wish, as it inherently involves a great deal of passivity.
“Dear Wishing Well, I wish to be able to better manage my emotional dysfunctions.”

The foreign words in this wish are: emotional, dysfunction, and manage. Even if someone knows exactly what each word describes, avoid foreign words. “Dear Wishing Well, I wish to come to terms with my feelings.”
